We LOVED Read Across America Day! We read Horton Hears a Who, and made our own clovers with tiny specks, which we carried around all day long. We also completed many reading activities about Dr. Seuss, his books, and his characters. AND…. we were treated to another great Arts Alive! session to celebrate the artistry of Theodore Geisel. Thank you to Kerri Evans and Elizabeth Rogers-Hebner, who worked together to give the kids such an enriching experience.

Hello!
I really liked when we made the Seuss world! My favorite part of our world was the saying “A person’s a person no matter how small!” I also like the clover field. What is your favorite part?

Ruby
Hi Ruby and Isabelle,
I loved the day, too! Making the art project was very exciting, and it was neat to see how each group worked together to do their part. My favorite part is carrying around the speck all day 🙂
