Just thought I’d pop in to say hi to everyone – we’re enjoying our week in Destin, Florida. The weather is in the 70’s and the sun is strong enough that we all have sunburns. Our balcony overlooks the Gulf of Mexico – so I’m going to show you one of the many sunset pictures I’ve taken this week.
I’m also going to bring in some oil pellets we found on the beaches from the oil spill. Amazing how far they travel, what they look like, and how they get stuck to your skin!!
See you in a couple of days – and that’s when I’ll start getting caught up on replies, book talks, etc… I hope you are all having a wonderful week!!

We got back from Florida on Friday. Me and my family had so much fun. Sun shined everyday. We were in Sarasota and then went to Universal. We got to go on the Harry Potter ride. It was my favorite. We also went on a water ride and got soaked. I will see you tomorrow in school.

what is florida like? i have never been there. i have been sick for half of vacation and i still am, a little. but i am going to school today, finally. i cant wait to finish my science project!!!!
