Each year, the third Monday in April commemorates the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord. In school, we are just getting ready to study the steps leading to the Revolutionary War, so the timing is perfect!!
Each year, the third Monday in April is also the Boston Marathon. Mr. Brooks grew up in Ashland, and spent each Patriots’ Day watching the race. We enjoy trekking to Ashland each year to watch the race, and today was no different.
