I sat everyone down for my end-of-the-year Calendar Countdown Speech. I told the kids that each year, I realize that in just a few short weeks, we’ll all be on our way to summer activities. What a mixture of emotions that always brings about! Excitement – who doesn’t love a vacation? Sadness – I love your kids and will miss them. Panic – I know just how much needs doing and how little time there is to squeeze it all in. So, every year, I draw a calendar on the board for everyone to see just how close we are to the Last Day.
I had fun with my SMARTBoard and made a calendar, so you can all share in my excitement, sadness and panic. If there’s something you see floating around on the calendar and you’re not sure what it is, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll fill you all in!

this morning I tried logging my minutes in and it didn’t let me. I don’t know why but I think it had to do with my password and username.FYI I’m not going to be at school today because my stomach really heart.:(
Yep! We start recording speeches today :). Bring what you’ve got at this point, we’ll figure it out from there 🙂

I’m sorry you’re not feeling well – I miss you, too! We’ve had a busy morning. I had the eagles on the screen the other day – they are big big big!! I’ll put them up again for a bit on Monday if you remind me. I’m not sure why the logging of the minutes didn’t work… I’ll have to give it a try myself, too. Were you able to log in okay?

Hi Mrs.Brooks are dress rehersals on the 6 and 7? I have all of my stuff ready exept my beard and glasses.I`ll have them by tommorow.Is that okay?
