It’s Summertime!!! That means, that teachers are in school, learning…
It is very fun teaching other teachers about building a classroom blog. Everyone has such great ideas about how they want to use their blog, and their ideas get ME excited to try new things. We all decided, after visiting a bunch of oh-so-cool classroom sites, that there are almost too many fun ideas out there!
I do know this year I’m looking to try a few new activities with my new students. I’ve learned how to create a screencast, which I’m guessing will be a super way to share lessons we learn in class. I’d like to give students the opportunity to create their own individual blogs, so I am exploring websites to use. I’d also like to connect with other classroom blogs more than we have in the past. Sharing excitement with others is so motivating for students of all ages!
So, if you’d like, leave a hello for the teachers in my course!! They will probably end up seeing this post and would love to see what you think about blogging in the classroom.
For those visiting our blog – check out the recent SurveyMonkey results about your thoughts and opinions!!
I am in the midst of cleaning out my links here on the blog…. This is a video I haven’t shared in a while…. Check it out!!
What is on your summer reading list? Thankfully, Carson is NOT doing his reading on his Rip Stick!!!
Finally? If you have a little time on your hands, then perhaps you’d like to play in the sand! Check out the This Is Sand website. You can create your own “sanderpiece” or you can check out the gallery…. If you create your own, send it to me and I’ll share it on the blog!!
