hi mrs. Brooks, You’ll never guess what had happened to my friends 2 bikes a couple weeks ago, they were STOLEN! he lives at some of the apartments near my grandma’s house, we were just playing then we ran into Jacob there ” he visits sometimes” then we wanted to play a game on our bikes. When my friend Casey went to go get one of his bikes they were both gone! He told me and then his grandma and mom. they told us to go look in peoples backyards and then we split up. Then I was looking and I found one of his bikes! I went and told him and he looked at the bike I found and it was his. I felt soooooo good. then we ran into our other friend Bruna and her cousin. They helped us look. at first we found nothing, then we found a bike that wasn’t his, then we were all walking back when Bruna and her cousin stopped and chit chatted with each other, then they started running to me and Casey and said ” We are coming you guys” after they said that Casey turned his head right to look at them when he saw his other bike in the woods. We went and got it and brought it back. And after that his grandma said she was going to get him another bike for his early birthday and a bike lock

I miss you and your great stories — I don’t want to scare you in the middle of the summer – but you, my friend, just got a great start on a personal narrative!! I’m very glad Casey found his bikes and what great friends he has to help him do all that searching! A bike lock is a super idea :).
My summer is going well – right now I am away on vacation with my family and another family. We are sharing a house in the Berkshires in the western part of Massachusetts for a week. We are planning on doing a lot of hiking and other activities outdoors. We really came all this way to do some Zip-Lining. I’ve never done that before so it should be a bit scary, but fun. My camera is still broken, but hopefully I’ll get some good pictures anyways.
I like the picture, too – if you visit the zoo website, you can make your own! Carson had fun playing with it.
I’m very glad you are having a great summer – it’s still only July, which means we have a wholllleeee month left! Yaay!

That’s a long ride! What do you do in the van to keep busy on your trip? We had a 4 hour ride here to the Berkshires yesterday, and we did a lot of singing. We had Kendyl and Carson in our van, plus Carson’s friend Audrey. We all like to sing, so we sang lots and lots.
I hope you have a very safe ride, and that it goes by quickly for all of you. Bring stuff to keep you happy and busy! 🙂
