Another fun October 31st at Mullen-Hall. We missed the Lawrence School Marching Band, but our PTO arranged for us to carry some fun music in our boom boxes. We spent the afternoon completing our Pumpkin Science experiments. Mrs. Brooks took home all those seeds to roast and share with students in 204 on Wednesday. Yum!

Hi Mrs. Brooks, How are you doing?? I practice my violin for 1 hour.
On Auguest 31, 2011 I was at OKC will rogers world airport and I was at Continental Airlines ticket counter and said,
” hello, Continental Airlines flight to chigaco ‘O hare.” and the ticket woman went like ” Actally it’s going to be United. ” and I was like, ” Why United?? The ticket counter said Continental Airlines NOT United” and the ticket counter woman went like, “that’s because we are merging with United and Continental.” and I was like, “OH so that’s why there are no Continental planes there because when I was at the airport, I don’t see any Continental planes there. So the airline I toke is United Express it was the CRJ-700 plane. That flight cost $15.00 from OKC-ORD. Before it got to chicago I sat at the Back seat where no engenes blocking the window and if I want to see the wing I had to lean forward so I can see the wing on United Express and when I got to chicago, I went like, ” Big plane I’m counting on you.” and I and when I saw that plane that’s was a different flight and I went up to that guy and I went like, ” Excuse me, what tipe of aircraft am I’m takeing on was it going to be like the Southwest planes?? And the guy went like, “Bigger.”and that plane came and I went like YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS! and I was conecting, conecting, conecting, conecting, conecting complete. and as the pland leaves the gate the safty viedio came on the on, the same one I watch it on Youtube. and that’s what happen. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Jonathan
Jonathan! I feel like I was right there beside you, heading from Oklahoma City to O’Hare. Do you remember my telling you that I used to be a travel agent and I had to memorize ALL of the airport codes and airline codes? There are lots of airlines that have merged (or disappeared) since LONG LONG LONG ago when I was a travel agent.
Did I ever tell you that while I was a travel agent, I also worked part time at Logan Airport? I was a ticket agent and a gate agent. It was a crazy job sometimes, but lots of fun.
I used to LOVE to fly the big planes, but that doesn’t happen very often anymore. Luckily I love to fly in any plane.

Hi mrs. Brooks, How are you doing today?? I heard that one time the
Airline that use to fly out of Lawton, OK is, Delta connection. But now is American eagle and not Delta connection because on delta connection don’t have a lot of passengers on Delta connection. Now it’s American eagle. There’s a lot of flights today. Some other Southwest planes has delayed and Airtran has depart on time and Delta has delayed in DTW for 45 minutes to OKC. on the plane the anouncement called and went likes, “Sorry about that long delayed flight and now, our flight to OKC. And they did the safty information which is one of my favorite part of the plane is the safty information. When I was in DTW I was at C12 and the gate agent went like “you’re on C16 and we had to go to C16 and the gate agent went like, “you’re on C12 and we had to go back to C12 and I went like “hello is the another flight has to come in?? And the gate agent went like, “where are you going??”and I went like,” To OKC.” and the Gate agent went like ” Well then that must be your plane. ” and I went like, ” OK.” and we got on the Plane and there’s a 45 minute delayed and I went like, what happen they cancel are flight??” and Gerri went like, “well then we will have to get another plane.” and the Plane left the gate and I went like, “Finally.” and that’s what happen.
