I received an email this morning from Charlie V., whose dollar bill Mr. Brooks found this morning when he went golfing… It was nice of Charlie to take the time to write to us!!
Hello Mrs. Brooks!
I am writing about your: One dollar bill, Serial Number: D7708—7C Series: 2003A that you entered into Where’s George?…
I have heard about these school class progects before. I like Where’s George. I have entered bills which have been found in all fifty states & several foreign locations.
Do you mark http://www.wheresgeorge.com on the bills your class enters? Doing that makes a big difference in how many get reported found. Maybe even mark the school name & class on it, the back margins work well for that sort of thing.
I think the “Currincy Tracking Project” & the “Follow Me” stamps I use make a big difference in how many of my bills get reported as found. Stamps make it easier but the markings can be handwritten. Some think handwritten markings get more hits. Just make sure the markings stay off the printed parts of the bills.
