A Full Week!

This past week we filled with lots of fun and learning!
On Tuesday, four students from Lawrence School came in as part of the CAST program – Cross-Age Student Teaching. They came along to teach us about circuits and electricity.  Room 309 students were VERY enthusiastic, but did a great job following along.  These students will return two more times in the coming weeks to teach us even MORE!  Can’t wait!  Check out the photos:

Wax Museum assignments went home this week, and on Friday, students learned which Massachusetts  “figure”  they would be researching. Questions about these in-depth projects are ALWAYS welcome…. Be sure to send them along!

Friday was Game Day.  I have never given an assignment like this before and I was VERY impressed by the products that arrived at school.  We played games most of the day, reviewing skills from all curriculum areas! Also, to wrap up our day, we were treated to a concert by Bill Harley (HERE is his website).  I made a quickie-silly-video here:
