A New Year, A “New” Mac

I’m thrilled to say that my MacBook has returned to me even better than before. I was pretty lost without it, but managed to keep busy with lots of projects around the house. I received so many nice comments and didn’t get to respond to them – so thank you to all my Commenters!!! Hopefully I’ll get back to my normal posting routine soon!!

      Number Eight,

What is Guess Who Mix and Match??? Is it a different kind of Guess Who game? I love playing games – I’m glad you enjoyed time playing with your parents and sister :).

    Heeeyyyyyy Ruby!

I did stay up late on New Year’s Eve with Carson and Mr. Brooks. We stayed home and watched movies and stayed awake, but you stayed up later than we did!! Christmas – I got some clothes and a nice necklace from Mr. Brooks and charms from Carson and Kendyl and a pretty bracelet for me and my best friend who moved away and a new set of knives for the kitchen. I think that’s about it :). You?? It was nice seeing you this week at school!!!

It’s about bedtime for me, too, Ruby! Did you notice at the book fair that there is a new Deborah Wiles book? I thought of you when I saw it.

Your rubber band ball makes me smile – I’m glad you were able to add to it. Are any rubber bands safe in your house – or do they all get swallowed up by your collection? Rubber bands make me think of another good book I think you’d like – Dewey, The Library Cat. We’re reading it in class, now – but you’re welcome to borrow it when we’re done. It’s a true story (I heart true stories) and kids are loving it.

    Book talks start soooooon!

    Nite-nite, my friend!

    Love,
    Mrs. Brooks
