Did I Mention the Eagles?

Here’s a pic I just snapped of E1 and E2 out from under their dad.  I’m getting to know who-is-who and I’m learning a lot!

The littlest Eaglet is under dad’s tailfeathers. The other two squiggled out from under Dad, and were playing for a bit – then one of them would “crash-nap” face-down into the nest.  They are great little sleepers!

Let me know if you visit!  (Link Below)

A little time left alone on a Sunday morning....

I saw it, too, Brianna! Those poor chilly eaglets! I’m sure it’ll warm up soon :).

    Hi Mrs. Brooks!

I just watched the eagles for a few seconds and E.1 And he’s gotten bigger. He looks sort of brown now. He’s going to maybe get his feathers in a few months or weeks.

Hi Brianna and Alexis – I can’t believe how big all 3 eaglets have gotten – and I think you are right – new feathers are on the way! They are still so very floppy, though – they make me giggle!

    Keep me posted!

    Hi Mrs. Brooks.

I just went to see the eagles and there’s snow in the nest!
It must still be winter not spring in Iowa today.
    It’s so amazing.

I know! BRrrrrrrrr!!!! Yesterday there was a ton of snow on the lens, so at times, we could only see white. I hope it warms up soon — both there AND here!

    Enjoy your Wednesday, Alexis!!!

    Hi Mrs. Brooks.
I think E.1 is getting bigger by the minute because his beak is kind a bigger the last time I checked him and the others.
