Fall…. And Cranberry Day… In New England….

Today was CRANBERRY DAY!  I can’t tell you how many cute little 204-ers came up to me at the doorway this morning and said “Happy Cranberry Day!”.   LOVE THEM!!!!

We weighed, measured, tasted, drew and wrote all about these famous fruits of Massachusetts.  Thank you to Tierney’s, Natalie’s and my mom for volunteering this morning!!

We also explored a beautiful poem written by Cheryl Wheeler, which we later learned was a SONG!

Mrs. Langmead met us in the pod after recess and sang to us…  We joined in the singing on the second time around.

Dear GA, why don’t we have a Peach Day? What is up with that? We’d have a ball with fruit day. Matter of fact I might have to just make a day for my school cause we’d have such a great time with Peach Day. Thanks for sharing with us south of the Mason Dixie.
