I’ve had students and parents ask me what apps they should have installed on the devices they bring from home. My answer is consistent – there are no required apps at all. These are personal devices and I do not feel it is right for me to dictate what parents should or shouldn’t install on them. I only want their devices to be fully-charged and virus-free.
However, in the interest of helping those that are searching for apps we use in our classroom, I’ve created an info-graphic of sorts, detailing some of the apps we use. Students are not allowed to install any apps (even free ones) while they are at school, so these must be installed while away from school.
