The weather report looks yucky tomorrow (Wednesday, August 25)… I think I might be brave and head into the classroom. Helpers are welcome to join me – bring your own snacks and water bottle, it gets sticky in 309 in the summer! Anyone wanting to assist can be dropped off under my “no-rest-for-the-weary-command” from 11am to 1pm. Hopefully we will start making it look like a classroom!!!!
Mrs. Brooks, Ms. Sawyer, Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Langmead and Miss Paltz all had dinner together last night, and decided to play Apples to Apples… Ms. Sawyer had never played before, and Miss Paltz and Mrs. Langmead were REALLY good at it!!! We had a lot of fun — here’s a picture of us as we were thinking about coming back to school next week. See how excited we are????

Hi Ruby! You lucky girl, getting to go on a sailing trip – I’m sure you and Mrs. Dawson will have fun comparing notes — AND you’ll have something to write about in writing!!
The day I came in to work, no one came in – I did have Kendyl, Carson and 3 of their friends, so I put all 5 kids to work and the room looks fabulous! I’m in here today putting the finishing touches on everything, and over the weekend I’ll make name tags and Moose Books.
What college is your cousin going to? How exciting!
See you soon, enjoy the long weekend!!
Love,
Mrs. Brooks
