Really? You are leaving me???

I can’t believe that Day 180 came and went.  We had an amazing year, and I learned a whole bunch!!!  I had the best 21 teachers in the whole building… what a lucky girl I am.

I sent home 2 DVD’s with students today – one has all of the movies we made this year:

Anoleville (Bob & King Kong’s life celebration)

Let Them Be Little (from Meet the Teacher Night- not on the web )

We’re All A Family Sharing One Pod (the Family Pod video)

David Coffin‘s concert – he was nice enough to let me record and share him!

309’s Year in Review (too big to share online)

and… the last one — You Make Me Smile.  I chose this song waaaaayyyyyy earlier in the year….  Take the time to listen to the lyrics, as they completely reminded me of all of you!!!  I then chose my favorite portrait of each of you to include – but then I couldn’t choose, so I included 2!  Can you guess the order they are in?

The other DVD contains over 1,000 photographs I took this year.  Burning 50 DVD’s was a labor of love, I hope that you all enjoy them!!

I am very excited for each of you as you move on to 4th grade…  You were a lot of fun, and very hard workers.  Enjoy your summer and squeeze in a LOT of playtime so you’ll be ready to show those 4th grade teachers just how amazing you are!

Blog me this summer!   I’d love to hear from you :O)

Love, Mrs. Brooks….

Hi Mrs. Brooks! How was your first full day of summer vacation? Mine was awesome! I went to Woodneck Beach with my Grammie and Poppy. I caught a lot of rock crabs–with my hands! I am already missing 3rd grade, but the videos help. The videos are so cool! I hope you have a great summer!

    Hi Nathaniel!

I’m so glad to hear you had a great day yesterday. Crabs kind of scare me, but I like to pick them up, too. I much prefer toads!

Yesterday was Kendyl and Carson’s last day of school, and then we went to Sagamore Beach where a bunch of families meet on the last day of school every year. It was a nice day, but I agree, I already miss Third Grade, too!

I’m glad you like the videos and I’m happy to hear that they are playing okay for everyone.

Keep in touch and enjoy Day 2!!!

    Love, Mrs. Brooks
