Today we had a great time in Science. Mrs. Brooks is trying to review the steps to the Scientific Method, as students learn a little more about it each year. She decided to use an interesting polymer (similar to those found in baby diapers) to surprise us today!
With our Science Journals in hand, and Louise the Computer Cart all fired up, we listed the materials for our “experiment”. Then, Mrs. Brooks explained the Procedures as we wrote them down. She also reminded us that scientists observe with more than just their eyes…. Before we knew it, we were ready! The snow was lots of fun – but I really really wish it wasn’t goopy – I thought it’d be dry and fluffy.
